Fan unrest at perceived negative football holding back pre-season promotion expectations and an apathy engulfing the club, Sheffield Wednesday head to Carrow Road on the back of 4 straight draws. Andrew Lawn chatted to North Stand Owl for his thoughts.

Andy – Hello, right first question; having made the play-offs repeatedly recently, you were among the favourites for promotion at the start of the season. You started slowly but are now unbeaten in 6, including 4 successive draws, so is starting to click?

North Stand Owl – Not at all to be honest we still play negative football, we don’t usually start to attack sides until the second half in which that time we have been known to concede before we start to play.

It doesn’t sound a happy ship? Is Carlos Carvalhal on borrowed time then?

Chansiri has already stated he won’t be sacking the manager but if results don’t pick and the football improves then I don’t think he has a choice I think to save our season he has to get rid of him.

There are some complaints here about the style of football too, with a lack of goals the current worry. Sounds set-up for a goal fest Saturday then… Apart from Chubby Hooper, who should we be wary of in this Wednesday side?

Our midfield resolves around Barry bannan he’s been brilliant so far this season, while Adam Reach our left midfielder on his day he can be a threat with his crosses.

I’ve always liked Barry Bannan, reminds me of Andy Reid and Charlie Adam.

On the other side of that coin, who should we be targeting to get some joy?

You can take Nuhiu off us if you want…

Swap you for Matt Jarvis?

What are expectations like at Hillsborough, Play Off repeat the minimum required?

Playoffs is the minimum yeah but under Carlos I just don’t think we can achieve that this season, he’s too negative he’s naive and too boring his football tactics are shocking, in the whole of November we only managed 5 shots on target in 5 matches

Has the last few seasons not built him some time? Does United’s success factor into the discontent at all?

His first season we played brilliant attacking football and really looked like going up, we got to Wembley and that day he just went defensive although it did take a good strike to win the game.

Last season we were very Boring and it’s only thanks to hoops coming back from injury in February that got us into playoffs, but then again in playoffs he went defensive and we ended up losing on pens, and same with this season he’s just too defensive and doesn’t like to attack teams.

Many City fans would currently label Farke the same.

What, if anything have you made of us this season?

To be honest I expected your to be up there with us this season, but you’ve not been great this season either.

All set for a 0-0 draw Saturday then. At least you tend to bring a few so the atmosphere might be better…

We’ve not even sold 2000 this season which is a shambles. It just proves fans are losing patience with Carvalhal.

If you were to sack him, who would you want in next?

Someone who plays attacking minded football, off top of my head I can’t think but they’ll be someone out there.

Alex Neil is pretty attacking…

Finally, can we get a score prediction?

1-1 or 2-1 home win.

0-0 all day by the sounds of it to me, let’s hope you’re right
